REVIVE - An explosive performance on fashion

 

What do we do with clothes, and what do clothes do to us?  

What is fashion?  

How do we choose what to wear?  

And how does the textile industry impact the climate?

 

Revive is an impactful dance performance featuring top street dancers Afra Hosseini, Marvil Iglesias, and Adrian Cruz, alongside choreographer Sofia Ribeiro. Together, they challenge the fashion industry's impact on the environment and explore how clothing shapes our identity.

 

With energetic, thought-provoking dance and upcycled outfits designed by Lotta Enbrand, the performance tackles themes such as fashion, body ideals, and the consequences of a throwaway culture.

 

Revive is part of Gottsunda Dans & Teater’s Slow Fashion I Orten project. In this initiative, we work with local communities in Gottsunda and surrounding areas to understand how young people perceive fashion and promote a sustainable approach to clothing.

 

After a successful premiere last year, Gottsunda Dans & Teater is bringing Revive back for another run this year.

 

Revive will be performed at Gottsunda Dans & Teater’s main stage on March 28.
